Australian Taxation Calculator: Excel Spreadsheet

0

This post is for my Australian readers, but if you are from far away lands and are curios to see what us Australians pay in tax, feel free to download the spreadsheet.  As most of you will be aware the tax office made some minor adjustments to the thresholds and the martingale tax rate which will be in effect during the next financial year. If you want to get a rough idea about tax obligations download the excel spreadsheet.

As you can see from the screenshot above it is simple to use, you just enter your income and residency status.

Notes: This is a simple tax calculator and does not take into account capital gains tax, HECS/ SFSS repayments, tax offsets and tax credits.

Trading Wisdom

If I am bullish, I neither buy on reaction, nor wait for strength; I am already in. I turn bullish at the instant my buy stop is hit, and stay bullish until my sell stop is hit. Being bullish and not being long is illogical. — Ed Seykota
